DoununMama Drum Class - Fall Monday Nights @ 7pm
This hot weekly summer series is continuing this fall and we have a few seats available for you to join our sweet ensemble. Strengthen your dunun and djembe skills as you learn challenging rhythmic exercises, drum drills as well as traditional and contemporary songs. Regular Players on either instrument will feel right at home. Drop-ins welcome but register ahead of time to save your space for that class,.

This twice monthly weekend class has a new flavor and new start time. Work on your technique and expression in these mixed classes – drum basics, ensemble playing, improvisational/rhythm creation sessions and more. Beginner to Intermediate Players to either djembe or dunun are welcome.

Blue Flame Gathering - Winter Soulstice - Saturday December 23rd @ 5pm
Our annual Blue Flame Gathering Winter SOULstice celebration is on Saturday December 23rd at 5pm. Dress for the weather as we may be outside for part of the ritual.
Remnants of the dark year will be with us that night – a perfect time to reflect on the lessons and blessings of the past year, let it go and set our intentions for the new year. As we prepare for the rebirth of the sun and the rekindling of the light of our own purpose, let us meditate in the gestational darkness on what we need in the new year. What relationships to yourself, to others, to situations or objects that need healing and/or forgiveness? What needs balance in your life? What kind of peace and harmony do you desire?
Please bring a snack or drink to share, your percussion instruments and, as always, an open heart and open mind. A $10 donation helps with supplies - so thank you in advance for your generosity. RSVP’s are a must, so please respond to this invitation as soon as possible.

Soul Pulse Rhythm Class - Winter Series starts Tuesday January 9th @ 7pm
Winter and a new series of Soul Pulse drum classes are upon us. For 6 weeks starting Tuesday January 9th. Tracy Hamilton and Sharon Pataky will take your djembe and dunun drumming to the next level with some new drills, exercises and songs. Beginner & Intermediates are welcome.

2024 Vision Boards - Saturday January 13th @ 5pm
Vision Boards are a beautiful way to set intentions and as a point of focus. Our annual Vision Board gathering will be on Saturday January 13th at 5pm. We will provide the paper, glue sticks and have some decorative supplies on hand. You bring any images or even use a board from a previous use to reuse for your new one.
Please feel free to bring it with you along with a snack or drink to share. Donations for supplies are welcome. Thank you in advance.

Blue Flame Gathering - Imbolc Ritual - Saturday February 3rd @ 5pm
Imbolc is the annual celebration of the halfway point between winter and spring. It is a time to honor the goddesses of the season (Brigit & Oya) and request their blessing on our next stage of growth on the wheel. Feel free to bring your drums & percussion instruments as rhythmic support during ritual.
A donation of $10 helps with ritual supplies. All gatherings are rain or shine and mostly outdoors with use of an indoor space in case of inclement weather.
